About Managing Director
Hickey Group was founded in 2007 and is primarily managed on a day to day basis by Dublin native Laurence Hickey MIAVI dip LS AssocRICS/SCSI and his management team of experienced Property Consultants. Laurence spent numerous years working with a well known Dublin based Auctioneers and Estate Agent at managerial level, dealing in the Lettings, Management, Sales, Commercial, and Overseas departments of the Company. Previously Laurence worked for a well respected Spanish Property Company established in the 1970’s which continues to build and market its own developments through to this day. Laurence also previously worked at management level in Chicago USA, and Sydney Australia. He has satisfied the examination board of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute (IAVI). Laurence also holds separate qualifications in Business Studies, Legal Studies and Property Law and is and Associate of RICS and SCSI.
Company Formation
When asked at the timing of the formation of the Company at the beginning of a massive global recession, Laurence added "The best time to form a Company is not when times are good as business environments change, but when times are challenging. This is the breathing ground for the serious companies of tomorrow, when services go back to basis, and we at Hickey Group at in it for the long haul so timing is not a major issue for us going forward.
